Photos of Tony Ranch in the Superstition Wilderness. The Superstition Area Land Trust (SALT) purchased the 78 acre historic ranch on August 12, 2008. The ranch can be reached by hiking from several starting points. The most popular is hiking south then west from near the FR-287 bridge over Pinto Creek. Next most popular, is hiking south then east from the northern end of the Haunted Canyon Trail along FR-287a. There's another route off of 4WD FR-342 that heads east. There's an obscure bushwhacking route that starts with a drive north from 4WD Signal Mountain Road out of Top-of-the World. The Signal Mountain Route is not suitable for backpacking.
